Resources - Documents List
The following important documents are needed to file your Bankruptcy Petition:

Correspondence from all Creditors including billing statements.  This includes Credit Card Statements, Medical Bills, Unpaid Insurance bills, Utility bills, Collection letters, Garnishment documents and anything that has to do with a real or potential debt. (That includes ex-spouses and family members and friends)

Copy of your Social Security Card and Colorado Drivers License, (Green Card-if applicable)

Copy of Payroll Check Stubs from your employer(s), from all jobs, all sources of income (including unemployment benefits, alimony, child support) for the past 2 months.  If you do not receive regular pay checks, there are alternative ways to document your income which we will help you with.

Court documents regarding lawsuits filed against you or filed by you against someone else. (Paperwork judgments, garnishments, repossession, foreclosure)

Current credit reports from all three repositories (Equifax, Experian and Transunion).  These can be obtained for FREE at www.annualcreditreport.com .
Please print all three reports as we will need them to complete the Bankruptcy Petition properly. If you choose to use a different Credit Report that is fine, but please DO NOT use "free credit report.com" , their reports are not good for Bankruptcy work.

Income Tax Returns, State and Federal, for the past two years, including all W-2's, 1099's.  If you have back taxes due or any debt due to a governmental agency, include documentation for that also. (If you do not have copies of your tax returns you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 and have them fax the transcripts of those returns to you)

If the loans on your car or house DO NOT appear on the credit report then we will need loan documents on those items.

Any investment and Retirement Statements, 401K, IRA's, Pension Plans etc., including and loans against these assets.
